Privacy Policy
What this site collects, why, who handles it and how to have it deleted. It is short because the site does very little.

Who is responsible
AstroPanda is a digital studio based in Argentina that designs and builds websites and software. We decide what happens to the data described here. For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to hello@astropanda.io.
What we collect
Only what you hand over, plus what any web server records automatically:
- The contact form: your name and email address, your company or website if you choose to give it, what you need help with, the stage and estimated timing of your project, and the message you write. Nothing is collected from the form that is not visible on it.
- Your acceptance of this policy, which the form asks for before it sends anything.
- Your visits, if you send the form: the pages of this site you viewed before writing, across tabs and over up to 30 days, and the site, link or ad that brought you each time. Your browser keeps that list, and it reaches us only attached to a message you choose to send. If you reject cookies it covers only the tab you write from.
- Your language preference, stored in a cookie so the site opens in the language you picked last time.
- Standard server logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and the browser identifier your browser sends. Every web server keeps these, and ours are used to keep the site up and to investigate abuse.
- Advertising measurement: the site loads the Google tag for Google Ads, which records visits from our ads and whether they led to a contact. Google may set its own cookies to do this.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade anything you send us. Your form message is never passed to Google or to any advertising service. We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us, and we do not use your data to make automated decisions about you.
Why we hold it
Your form message is used to answer it, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and to keep the thread of a conversation you started. We rely on the consent you give when you send the form and on the steps you asked us to take before any contract. Server logs are kept because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. The language cookie exists so the site does not ask you the same question twice.
Who else handles it
The form is not stored on our web server: it is sent straight to our inbox as an email. A few providers necessarily process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Resend, which delivers the form to our inbox as an email.
- Google Workspace, which hosts our email.
- Hostinger, which hosts this site and keeps its server logs.
- Google, which receives the visit data its Ads tag collects, under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
International transfers
Some of these providers run servers outside your country, including in the United States. When data travels to them it does so under the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers, such as the standard contractual clauses used in Europe. We do not share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept while the conversation is live and for as long as we may reasonably need them afterwards, for example to follow up on a proposal, and then deleted. Server logs rotate on the host's own schedule, in weeks, not years. The language cookie expires on its own, and clearing your browser data removes it immediately.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw the consent you gave at any time. Write to hello@astropanda.io and say what you want. You do not need to explain why, there is no form to fill in, and we answer within 30 days. If you think we have mishandled your data, you can also complain to the data protection authority where you live, such as the AEPD in Spain or the AAIP in Argentina.
Cookies
Three things are stored in your browser. A cookie with the language you chose, which the site needs to remember it. Your cookie choice itself, kept for a year. And, only if you accept, the Google Ads cookies that measure visits from our ads, plus the 30-day list of pages described above, kept in your browser's local storage.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask before storing the last two. Elsewhere they are on by default. Either way you can change your mind at any time, here or from the Cookies link at the bottom of every page, and the site works the same with or without them. Rejecting deletes the 30-day list; Google's cookies can be removed from your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly widen what we gather and leave this text describing an older, smaller version of the site.
